AfroMusic TV has adopted the following general policy toward copyright infringement in accordance with the Copyright, Designs and Pattents Act 1988 (CDPA). The address of the Designated Agent to Receive Notification of Claimed Infringement (“Designated Agent“) is listed at the bottom of this page. Please note that if you fail to comply with all of the requirements below, your CDPA notice or counter-notification may not be processed.

Reporting Copyright Infringement:

AfroMusic TV will promptly remove materials from its websites and services in accordance with the CDPA if properly notified that the materials infringe a third party’s copyright. If you believe that material residing on or accessible through AfroMusic TV's website or services infringes a copyright, please send a notice of copyright infringement containing the following information to the Designated Agent listed below:

  1. Your contact information, including address, telephone number and, if available, your e-mail address;
  2. Identification of the works or materials being infringed;
  3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing including information regarding the location of the infringing materials that the copyright owner seeks to have removed, with sufficient detail so that AfroMusic TV is capable of finding and verifying its existence (e.g. the URL);
  4. A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
  5. A statement made that the information provided is accurate and you are authorized to make the complaint on behalf of the copyright owner; and
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.
